Here is a link to the article in Discover magazine. Maybe you will understand their explaination. I can see the error you are making and have tried to explain it to you, but you don't seem to understand. Begin with the sun. Plants store solar energy. The process extracts the solar energy that is contained in biomass. They are using turkeys for now because it is convenient.
