And am also getting ready to do some more serious reading.

From the little I learned about Quaker beliefs, picked up when my daughter picked a good Quaker liberal arts college as her top choice school, (thankfully she was accepted avoiding massive disappointment!), I'm very interested in knowing more. I really like the emphasis on reducing poverty and suffering, non-violence and pacifism, and the idea that dogma is not as important as each individual searching for their own truth on spiritual matters.
