Purchased new just as the 2000 model were released. Suzi is the parent of the Geo Metro line marketed by Chevrolet. Suzi doesn't offer the 3 cylinder engine, only the 1.3L 4 cyl. Mine's a 5 spd. Got 90k miles so far and I can drive from Portland to No. Calif before filling the 10 gallon tank. Several long uphills thru the mountains require a downshift to 4th but never below the 65 mph limit (often at 80+ to stay with interstate traffic). I couldn't be happier with this car. I'm 64 yrs and have owned many vehicles (including motorcycles and PU's). Last fill-up was 7.8 gals and trip-meter was 310 miles. Bring on the higher prices.
I can always ride my bicycle.
