One of my co-workers just handed me the best research project. She wants figures (actual numbers) for how much the federal government spends on things like:
-State dinners
-Toilet paper
-White House chef
Basically anything that you look at and go..."We spend how much? On THAT?!" It will be used in an argument to keep funding for a project Bush wants to cut, so if you've got any good sources, I'd really appreciate it.
I'm so excited, my job isn't usually political. Normally, getting tossed a project at 4:30 on a Friday is a bad thing, but I might actually work on this over the weekend.
