4. I cried and cried and cried
while listening to him. When he told of the day his mother and sister's were murdered he said he moved one of his dead sisters off of his mother, he cleaned the blood from her face and just laid on top of her. He was the same age my son is. <sigh> He said he prayed to g-d that he would survive this and promised his mother that day that if he did survive he would never let people forget, he would tell the world.

He was in a mental institution for 4 years (here in the states) because of his experience. While he was there he told his story on cassette tapes...that's his book. He travels the country speaking at colleges, high schools, middle schools and grade schools. He spoke at my son's school last week and that's when we bought his book. After reading what I have, I HAD to meet this man when I learned he would be at our Barnes and Noble today. I'm so glad I went. He truly touched my heart with his story.
