14. Smoke and mirrors
It sure seems like we have some weird version of state sponsored television news. If this doesn't go well though, there will be no way to really cover it up. The international media won't let it go and they sure won't cover up BushCo's dirty work.

I often wonder how far Hitler would have gone if there had been the Internet. Certainly more people would have known the full extent of his terror. Would it have made a difference? I honestly don't know. Certainly Vietnam became less and less popular as the news came out and the body counts increased. I only hope it doesn't take 58,000 American dead and 3 million Iraqi dead before we stop doing what we're doing.
