I went to Kenyon, down the road in Gambier, in the late 60s, about the time MVNC was founded. I think some of your students occasionally trekked to Gambier to attempt to bring the licentious elitists to Jesus, usually without a lot of success.

BTW, Kenyon wasn't exactly a beacon of progressivism either at the time. When they finally admitted women in 1969, they brought in all the dopey stuff like cloistering the women in their dorms after a certain hour, requiring men to check in at the desk, etc., etc. Needless to say, the men were under no such restrictions... Gad. Sounds funny in retrospect, but even then it was merely pathetic.
