Bush to Nation' Youth: Turn all the churches into strip clubs

The GOP has announced its plans for the youth inaugural concert, to be attended by Jenna and Babs Bush. The headliner of the part of moral values' concert: KID ROCK.

Yes, the same Kid Rock, who wrote a song called "If I Were President," in which he made the following promises:

"I’d turn all the churches into strip clubs and watch the whole country pray
I’d give the State of the Union Address smoking a joint a mile high in Air Force One.
I’d put cameras in the Lincoln bedroom so everyone could watch him get down."

Of course, Falwell, Dobson, and Robertson are all over this one. Do I hear crickets chirping?

One has to wonder if their silence is in fact and endorsement of of Kid Rock's cheerleading of the sex inductry and degradation of women. Will Falwell be installing a pole in his Lynchburg, VA church? Will Robertson be hawking copies of Girls Gone Wild on the 700 club?

I personally don't give a damn what Kid Rock sings. Its his first amendment right, as I have the right to criticize him. But the noticeable double-standard of the party that wants you to believe that it is engaged in a war to save you from hedonistic entertainment is rather interesting.

We should all call Hannity, O'Reilly, Dobson, and co. on their hypocisy by flooding their shows with ridicule.
