My wife is from the island country of the Seychelles, in the Indian Ocean. What you may not know (because it's a small country) is that Seychelles was one of the countries that was severely damaged by the tsunami (though not on the scale of what happened in Sri Lanka).

I've thrown my support (and money) to AmeriCares. AmeriCares is a good, efficient, honest organization, and their priority right now is to get anti-dehydration kits and water-purification kits (which are desperately needed to keep people from dying of medical problems cause by the lack of clean water--more important at this point even than food is), as well as other medicinal aid. They are real professionals who know how to get the job done.

Could someone add AmeriCares to the "master list" at the top of the thread? They really are a good organization.
