11. The Gephart comment pushed Bush Co. over the edge...
Edited on Sat Sep-06-03 09:06 AM by hexola
They have been waiting to play this WMD card for a while. Now Bush bashing is becoming mainstream...The rips on the President at the debates sent a signal to BushCo. They have maxed out the 9-11 Partiotism thing...Time to drop some "good news" bombs...take out certain groups of naysayers.

"Incoming...!"

Evidence of WMD = )BOOM( =

Saddam Hussien Captured = )BOOM( =

Osama Bin Laden Captured = )BOOM( =

Diversion of Major Terrorist Attack = )BOOM( =

Anthrax terrorist captured = )BOOM( =

"Sir...we've lost half our brigade...suggest retreat."

Then he just has to keep the economy together...

Watch out...they will soon be making the case for SUCCESS in Iraq. And - I think they can probably create a very strong argument that the entire Iraq venture was a complete and resounding success. Lately I've noticed a few celeberties mentioning being in Iraq lately. They even took our chumpy House Rep Billy (son of Bud) Shuster(R-PA) over there. So I wonder how truly dangerous it is. You're probably pretty safe as long as you aren't dressed in full combat fatigues.
