Of course most people don't know this, but Socialism has worked on many occasions very well. It does, however, take a number of pre-requisites for it to succeed. Small communities usually work best, and that community must possess of the natural resources it needs within itself. There are states in India which live under a Socialist philosophy, and it works exceptionally well. Anyone who thinks Communism is evil is ignorant.
Oh yeah, the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and the PR of China are/were NOT (I REPEAT: NOT) Socialist in any way. They were bureaucracies and dictatorships.
