The Democratic Party exist to balance the economic effects of Capitalism with the social needs of a society.

Capitalism leads to an unacceptable collection of wealth with to few people, one of the major causes of the great depression. Also, we exist to support certain projects which benefit all mankind, but the economic cost are such that the free market can not support it (like dams, roads, bridges, military, regulation of air lines, power distribution, phone service, and per our discussion, possibly health care).

We are a party of the middle class, of working families, of the people who make the ship go, but do not necessarily direct its course.

We are the party of those who are not seen, but are critical to the success of the whole.

We are the party that believes we are one giant unit, we should help one another, our neighbor, and those who sometimes need direction.

We are NOT the party that pushes a lose social agenda, most of our supporters are strong family values folks, as Americans we respect integrity, character, and honor.

See, 20 years ago morals, pro-military, character, family values, these were common values, common ideas, no one could run on these issues, but now morality is a issue we get beat up by. I think that is wrong, we actually have DEEDS to support our words, we take these ideas and put them into ACTION. WE are the party of morals, character, honor, the people who help the less fortunate, who stop to help a child. We should OWN the morality, character, and honor brand, some how we lost it.

You and I, We want the same things, but I want them to ACTUALLY happen, not be something we just talk about. Results matter, and they can not be faked, Vince Lombardi taught us that.

And yes, a lot of days I feel like I have to choose between my ideas, which are and have always been DEMOCRAT, and my party, which I think has lost its direction. I want the Democrat Party to redirect itself to the Democratic IDEAS.

America will gladly accept our ideas and our agenda, if we go back to our core values, and we LIVE them, not just TALK them.
