Why Kerry lost the election...he lacked an embarrassing, obnoxious brother

Think about it - the ONLY Democrats to be elected president over the past 35 years have had obnoxious, embarrassing brothers.

Who could forget the antics of Billy Carter and his ‘homebrew in a can’, trademarked as "Billy Beer"? Who could forget the embarrassing but charming Roger Clinton? I think the goofy brothers added to the humanity of the Democratic candidates, and also appealed to a certain portion of the electorate.

Kerry clearly lacks an obnoxious embarrassing brother, and I believe it cost him the presidency. Everyone in his family is either an outstanding professional or a dedicated public servant. The ‘obnoxious, embarrassing’ voter demographic that would normally have gone to the Democrat was overlooked. They had only George W. Bush to look to for the qualities that appeal to them.

Yep, losing the election is Cam Kerry's fault 100% - for being a pleasant, low-key, respectable professional. There was nothing for people to laugh at or ridicule. Kerry was not publicly embarrassed by him, nor was he forced to apologize for his brother’s antics. We had nothing.

Let's just make sure the next Democratic nominee has a bumpkin relative just waiting to burst out of the cellar to embarrass the candidate and charm the electorate.
