I'm so busy reading, researching and putting the tools together to put Bev's request for assistance into action that I don't have time to post much...yet.

I can make a flyer. I have been thinking in those terms. I'd be happy to.

What I feel I would need is someone(s) that we could form a provisional committee with. The that committee would see an agreed on project through. That way I wouldn't be working in a vacuum.

I like the idea of forming a flyer committee...along with maybe a Letters To the Editor Committee and a Media Contact Committee etc.

This would be a BIG Time Saver with a mean old nasty clock ticking in the background.

What I'd need is someone to agree to help me vett the design and the content. We could set this up here on DU and then move it to private email, Instant message.

As far as distribution of a completed flyer goes: If DU feels it couldn't deal with something like this, we could use alternate websites. (I offer mine and I bet there would be others takers) Then a link from DU to wherever, and people could download and/or print it out from there. We could spread the link(s) to the flyer all over DU to make sure all threads pick up on it....Something like that.

This idea needs feedback.

Think of the time we could save. We could have a flyer, Letter's to the Editor, Form type letters to our Elected Representatives produced and vetted, for EveryBody to use in just a few days.

Wish I could help on lists for Colleges Universities, Unions and the like, but I can't. Betcha SomeBody else will speak up on it.

This is Nice. You have good ideas. I like it.

(It would be nice if SomeBody Does has the Adobe Acrobat program that
can not only read but MAKE documents.) Help!
