I think he's musically a joke, and I don't ever listen to any of his stuff, but the video was totally badass. And I think that it'll make a difference in the election -- the Eminem demographic usually doesn't vote.

But you know, people often have the tendency to "erect statues" of people who do things they admire. I, for one, have a big aversion to that -- even when it comes to John Kerry, people swooning about how "handsome" and "presidential" he is and all that. He's our candidate now, we'll work our asses off to elect him, and then when he's President, we'll see how he does. He'll still be just as "handsome" and "presidential", but if he were to do things I disagree with, I'll be opposed to him.

Analogously, no matter what you think of Eminem as a person, the video is the video. Separate the deed from the person.

Otherwise you'll catch yourself caring about who gets blowjobs from whom.
