61. I also saw TA Saturday night
Since nobody's really jumping to the film's defence, I'll point out there was no Kerry puppet in the film, either.

I'm a long-time liberal. I saw nothing in that film intended to provoke any action other than laughter at liberal celebs (as Jon Stewart said last week, "You don't get to pick if you're the voice of a generation") or subtle outrage at America's continuing cowboy diplomacy.

In my defense, I'm a big Thunderbirds fan from my little kid days (it was new when I was little).

The film was flat funny. If it makes freepers laugh, then maybe some of them will get the overall theme, which is to question why America feels the necessity to police the world in the first place.

In the film I watched, Kim Jong Il was the villain, and the liberal icons were easily duped by their self-importance into serving KJI's purpose.

By the way, Matt and Trey sold out years ago openly. Now they get to do projects that interest them. Paramount took a huge chance (since the non-South Park movies have had sucky box office).

It was the funniest film I've seen in quite a while.
