35. Given what we know
1. Bush went to Alabama for an extended period during his last year in the guard.

2. The local TANG unit was trying to work with him and at the same time keep their drill attendence up.

3. They knew he was "connected" politically though Texas and the TANG were Democratically dominated at the time.

4. The secretary recalled him being discussed in the opns section.

Given all of that, the memos were "plausible". The chances for the memos to have survived thirty years is slim and none. Memos like these do not go into the individual personnel file nor do they go to Dept of the AF unless as a part of an investigation. They are normally held in indivudual (Killian and others) desk files. Since Bush became a "dead issue" to the TANG in the seventies, they would have been destroyed unless Killian was the type to keep a copy of everything he ever wrote. If they didn't come from Killian's little trove, they are "made up" documents.

This was a "fool's errand" from the beginning.

Its the economy, stupid!!!!!
