Argh! I forgot Panama and BFEE Dope Inc cheeze and Bush friend Manuel Noriega.

Regarding the 1983 Grenada Invasion: It was a deadly diversion to draw attention away from the absolute disaster in Beirut, when the suicide truck bomber ran through the unarmed USMC check-point and into the building housing hundreds of members of the US armed forces, in country for a "Presence Mission." Especially infuriating was the fact the Iranian-allied terrorists employed the exact same technique at the US and French (IIRC) embassies a few months earlier. Meanwhile, the US and its allies continued to deal with the Ayatollah -- must've been payback for favors or something.



BTW: Today we have terror warnings whenever W's approval numbers start to tank. Certain, connected members of our government do business with those terrorists, too.
