82. Hippies turned the tide of so many ills the country was experiencing.

The 60s were a brutal time for everyone that fought the good fight.
The true Hippie movement was a force that bears fruit today. Without the sacrifice and influence of the Hippie movement, America would be an even more toxic cesspool than it is. I remember trash filled ditches by the highways, ddt and mercury filled lakes and streams, 'colored' drinking fountains and toilets, J Edgar Hoover, Eisenhower's warning of the Military Industrial Complex--- all the things that Hippies fought pacifisticly to make right. Oh, and some of my hippie friends didn't come home from Viet Nam...some did and were never 'right'.

What have you sacrificed for your country, ZombyWoof?

What makes you think I am angry? I'm not angry, you're just wrong.
