25. read the entire essay? did you ?
It seems like he was just being kind and not taking away all hope.
What do you take this passage to mean because it sure seems like this is the end and if it isn't already too late there is certainly no time to waste.

In the end, it may mean organizing a progressive confederacy to govern ourselves, just as our revolutionary founders formed the Continental Congress.

Seriously, dead seriously, since the moment that second plane came into view on 9/11 the fear was that there would be no way to convince people of what had just happened. The same thing is happening right now with the BBV machines. Most people even here at DU talk like this is just another election and if everyone just gets out the voters bu*sh will be gone. What planet are people living on ? They stole the last election and the house and senate and nothing was done to change anything except to make it easier for them to steal the rest of the elections from now on and use the media to convince people that they are voting in real elections. They have shredded the constitution
basically set up a dictatorship, attack peaceful demonstartors with deadly force to no official objections or punishment, invaded two countries, committed war crimes all over the globe all without any
real actual negative downside. Oh dear the press said the bu*sh people are not nice, wow bet that keeps them up at night. Personally the only problem the people that deal with the problems have is keeping the problems from getting so far out of hand that they have to kill people
to solve it or keep it quiet.
Go ahead, show the errors in the thinking here. There is nothing that would be more welcome than to think there is a reason to hope.
