7. Confirmation rather than supposition
Yes it seems a valid argument to assume that someone would speak up if it were not him. But there are any number of reasons why they may not. The video is quite horrendous and the grief may be too great for them to even contemplate such things.

The trouble here is that we cannot get a direct confirmation that it was indeed Berg in the video. Are there any confirming recognitions of the video being him from anyone that knew him?
