I live in west Texas and in the coffee shop the other afternoon where all the 'old farts' were lambasting Bush, one old curmudgeon made an absolutely fascinating remark. I had thought Cheney wanted to cover up his cronies plans to do to America what they had earlier done to California. This guy said no--they were carving up Iraq--Exxonmobil gets from here to here, Shell gets from... you get the picture. HMMM?
