Apparently there are bunch of freepers here already, despite our best efforts.

Well, if we democratically decide to adopt your solution, I'd stick around; but I don't agree with it. It's one thing to shut out conservatives (so we can discuss things without having to defend the existance of liberals), but to shut out liberals who post things we don't like to see; well I don't like it.

Of course there are a couple of options; one let people have the option to turn this system off. If I don't like it, I will see all the posts I want to. If someone else wants to sign up for it, they can get the posts edited out.

The other is the sensitivity of the system. Should a post be made invisible/deleted after 10 people make it invisible? 50 people? 100 people? 500 people? If one sets it too high only the most offensive posts will disappear. If one sets it too low, well than any group of people can shut down a post they don't like.

Anyway I don't know how practical these ideas are from a programming stance
