Prime Minister Paul Martin to travel to Washington
NOTICE
April 7, 2004
Ottawa, Ontario

Prime Minister Paul Martin will visit Washington, D.C. on Thursday, April 29 and Friday, April 30, 2004.

The Prime Minister will meet with President George W. Bush at the White House on April 30 to review key bilateral and multilateral issues.

The Prime Minister and the President will meet in the Oval Office and continue their discussions over a lunch in the White House.

The Prime Minister looks forward to the opportunity to review progress on issues of mutual interest, including the campaign against terrorism.

The Prime Minister’s programme in Washington will also include meetings with Congressional and non-governmental leaders. A detailed itinerary will follow at a later date.
