Ive watched all my sons in this missile laden, testosterone pumped up ridiculous childish absurd world grow up...keeping them from turning into assholes was my first order of business..when one of them came home and said to me one day
"The worst thing the guys can call each other on the playground is a 'woman'" I let them know the truth.
and everyday of their lives I respected them as young men, who had what was inherently inside them as decent human beings..its called compassion and nurturing, empathy, and kindness. Its what I believe in, and what their dad believed in before he died, and what many men and women on this earth believe in.
Im glad hes protected by his friends. But our children, no children, on either side, should be in that situation.
