21. I stopped watching TV after 9/11. I don't miss it AT ALL.
I have a life. I also have DU and other web sites to get information and news from.
TURNING OFF YOUR TELEVISION IS A REVOLUTIONARY ACT. You are not "more informed" for watching it, you are simply "more brainwashed." But it isn't because of your choice of information sources that makes turning off the TV a "revolutionary" act. It's the fact that you are NO LONGER SUBJECT TO COMMERCIAL MANIPULATION. My thoughts and emotions are no longer being bombarded by people trying to get me to BUY THEIR DESCRIPTION OF REALITY AND THE "GOOD LIFE."
