is a pretty bad guy. But if you think there would be a peace treaty with Gore in the WH, I've got a bridge to sell you.

Clinton made peace in I/P the key to his last year in office. What makes you think Arafat would have made peace with Gore instead after he rejected Clinton's plan?

And why exactly is going after the leader of a terrorist organization crap? Do you think the US shouldn't go after Bin Laden? What exactly is the difference.

I do agree that the timing is not very good and that practically speaking, this will not be helpful to anyone, Israeli or Palestinian.
