There is no way to spin Iraq into a positive for Bush*. The argument for invasion and occupation was based on falsehoods. The occupation is a disaster. There was no "exit strategy" and the costs in terms of blood, treasure and international alliances are enormous.

Even the most generous interpretation of the events leaves Bush looking like an incompetent fool. They can have as many staged "debates" as they like and Bush will still come out looking bad.
