46. I already tried that with him he said no
I also asked him if I could break his trigger hand, he said no
I offered him a lawyer
offered to send him overseas to hide
offered him to say NO to them and get dishonourable discharge, jail is better then being dead, he said no
offered everything, had him call the GI Objectors hotline, he did but then he wavered and said "Im just going, f*ck it."
We couldnt stand in the doorway and force him to stay, but now his emails sound more desperate, fake brave face , I think its hitting him as to how bad it really is , versus what he thought would happen.
I have to make sure we have a therapist ready for him when he returns, I have to believe he will return .
I also told my husband "Lets bribe a political heavyweight to get him out"
My husband is more ethical then me and said no.
I said "Ya but Bu$h did it! why not bribe a politician?"
Oh well. Im not ethical I guess when it comes to getting him out and home safe..in a way, I hope he breaks his leg this week and they send him home..Im serious...better to come home with one broken leg, then dead.
