14. It should be noted (for those not blessed with military experience) ...
... that the sentence beginning "Off<icer> will comply ..." is not conjecture, prognostication, or prediction. That's the military's wonderful way of ordering someone to do something, i.e. report and take the freaking physical. Short of death or severe disability, failure to comply is willful disobedience and is the kind of thing that filled cells at Leavenworth. For that particular order, even death or disability wouldn't be an excuse.
