but I have a hard time blaming them over people who are so gullible and incurious that they just swallow everything these idiots say without ever questioning their motives.

Right now I'm marveling at O'Reilly - who, in the course of flipping channels two nights in a row, I have caught saying Howard Dean is upset with him. Last night he showed a clip from one of Dean's speeches with a line that included a phrase like "Rush Limbaugh and O'Reilly and these guys." I can't even remember the point of the statement, but it did not indicate to me that Howard Dean is upset with Bill O'Reilly or that he has more than a vague awareness of the man. But here's O'Reilly again this evening, saying, "Howard Dean is upset with me." And he's looking out for the children and this guy and that guy and the other guy and all the usual bullshit that my mother sucks up like Hoover. It just slays me because she taught me to recognize it for what it is in grade school.
