When she first became First Lady, she was interviewed by I forget who about the fact that she worked while also functioning as the Governor's First Lady in Arkansas and she said something about not baking cookies and serving tea when she was the Governor's wife. Well the way the press slammed her down on this it finally became something of a joke. I didn't know she actually put her name on a line of cookies. Good for her.

But this was the first indication that this woman was going to be demonized every chance the right wing could fling it at her. If Dean becomes President, I wonder what they are going to do to his doctor wife and her medical practice. I feel sorry for what she may have to endure through no fault of her own.
