Ron Brownstein of THe National Journal first raised this point:

More jobs might be created this year than during George W. Bush's presidency.

But as I said above, let's say Pelosi is wrong. Let's say the job creation stops at 880,000 jobs created. Then the Obama administration will have created 880,000 jobs in 8 months of 2010. Now compare that to what the Republicans did in 8 YEARS of the Bush administration ..1 million jobs ...over 8 years. I think even if the jobs creation were to stop at 880,000 for eight months compared to 1 million over 8 years still shows the Obama administration is doing dramatically better than the Bush Republican administration did.


on edit: I am assuming the AMerican Spectator writer is referring to bureau of Labor statistics as he refers to said statistics in his piece(mentioned in my OP): "In the first six months of 2010, the economy added 882,000 jobs"__JW
