All of this rests on the premise that the Democrats in Congress and Barack actually WANT to empower the citizens and not suck corporate wee-wee's. They do not! Every action taken since this "historic" election and "mandate" for change has been S.H.I.T.
It's going to be silly to assume that they give a damn about the base or even the "center" for that matter as more and more people see the poopie on their plate courtesy of the Democratic power structure and their mascot Barack.
There needs to be a seismic shift in the dynamics of citizen involvement in our system.
I must emphasize, sorry: OBVIOUSLY ELECTING A CONGRESS FULL OF DEMOCRATS DOESN'T F'n MATTER! WHY WOULD ANYONE IN DEMOCRATIC POWER SUDDENLY SHIFT TO GIVING A RAT'S ASS ABOUT YOU AND ME?
