The American standard idea of repressions, denial and projection.

War/sex crimes such as torturing, sodomizing and raping captives are blocked from prosecution and exposure by the Administration. But should the interrogators aspire to an open, loving same sex relationship -they're out of the military - unfit for service. And when back here in the USA, the same Administration is working to block their right to marry a same sex partner.
