5. college age girls need to be checked for STD before appendectomy-I know two young women
that had an appendectomy, neither was tested for an STD before surgery. Symptoms can be very similar. Of course for surgery they load one full of anti-biotics, thus rendering any post surgery STD test useless. Both did NOT have appendicitis.
