I have been striving to develop effective strategies for communicating with 'outliers' (that's a methodology geek pun) like the Freepers and Neocons. I very much believe that if we're going to explore our commonalities and learn to work together, it's going to require the concerted effort of Democrats, whose minds are generally not slammed shut. If you have any suggestions or approaches that you've found result in even a limited sharing, I would very much appreciate hearing about them.

I like what Firesign Theater said decades ago (showing my age here...):

'We're all Bozos on this Bus.'

We can't just get off this bus at the next galaxy, so we'd best get along in our journey through the cosmos.
