Although, actually, I was working at the local campaign office and a few weeks ago a woman (one of our other volunteers) comes in with a voter registration form her friend had completed. It was all sealed up, but we reviewed all the ones we turned in, so I opened it and noticed the friend had registered Republican. So I pointed it out to the volunteer who became upset because the friend had told her she was going to register "No Party Affiliation" I offered to take it anyway, but the woman took it back and went to confront her friend.
Anyway, when I was out canvassing, I took "no party" but simply gave the Republicans the form to submit on their own. I won't commit fraud but darned if I was going to help Republicans vote.
