But I also think that this too, is something that could not have happened if the people were really opposed to it. AS evidence, I offer all the posts in this thread, and on other boards here and there, who express strong opposition to it.

A small, powerless, insignificant minority, yes, but also proof that it is not some inherent genetic trait for which individuals have no moral responsibility.

A lot of women, maybe most, wear painful, harmful high heeled shoes, because they have been told that men will find them more sexually alluring if they do that, but if you happened to watch the Academy Award show, Sofia Coppola went up to get her Oscar in a very pretty pair of flats ;)
