CNBC: Oil companies get contracts to add to strategic reserve

Looking for a link now, but here was the "we're just learning about" news on CNBC a couple of minutes ago.

Two of the biggest U.S. oil companies have been awarded government contracts to sell more oil into the nation's strategic reserve, starting Oct. 1.

My comment: At these record-high prices? Look at the profit! And right before the election, too! Get while the getting's good, I guess. Beyond contempt.
