16. Why does Poppy Want The Briefings?

I find it interesting the Poppy wants to see all the briefings.
Why should he want them? Why should he feel the need to know?
His son is the unPresident!

Doesn't he trust his son and the son's administration to handle things.Or, is Poppy really running the show and not the current administration.

I think Poppy is the silent partner and lead Soprano.:puke:
