basically dismiss the idea that Saddam had any means at all to even think about attacks in the US???

This seems to be a retread, brought out again to deflect the "no links to Al Qaeda" stories.........So now, Saddams was going to do it solo????

Ludicrous.

Pooty is doing his KGB thing....deal to compensate Russia for the huge debt Iraq has with them?

A week or so ago, I posted an article on Russia and the US from Asia Times Online....outlining all the positive things Russia has been saying about the US...but still, Russia is very skeptical....esp. about Iraq....
