I don't mean to pry, but the I am fed up with the vagueness of "Gee, though I don't (or "though you may not") agree with Paul on everything, he sure is smart, swell, right on, worthy of respect (insert your favorite praise here).

So, from now on, I am going to ask all the vague Paul praisers to please, please be a lot more specific.



The man is fucking disgraceful Republican wingnut who is even more adverse to taxation and government than they are, except that he and the Republicans want even bigger where government doesn't belong at all.

And please don't tell me that states rights or liberty as a reason to oppose the Civil Rights Act is anything but code to cloak pandering to the racists in the RW in some kind of ostensibly respectable language. It was when Barry Goldwater used it, always has been and it still is.
