his opposition to government and taxes.

Nothing about that is worthy.

And I am not sure that cutting all foreign aid, even if your reasons are ostensibly noble, is especially sane.

And then too, focusing on those two things while excepting his other policies is like expecting Mrs. Lincoln to have enjoyed "Our American Cousin" despite her husband's assassination by one of the cast.
