jungle. She might have been desperate, or maybe not. We don't have enough information to know that. But murder is wrong. If however she killed him in self defense that's not a crime and it's a different matter. Whether it is justified self defense is a matter for their legal system to sort out.
On edit. Come to think of it, even if she acted in self defense then cutting up her husband and boiling the flesh is probably nevertheless a crime and she should face justice for that. Of course that would be a less serious crime than murder and her punishment should be much less severe.
