19. Yep, they will post many, many, many fake entries trying to mimic
the 99% posters'.... And the 53 yr old working 3 jobs, struggling with the home selling, and insurance rates out of control not blaming Wall St, is just an idiot working against his own interests. It won't resonate with most Americans who are in a similar situation and do know who to blame. Its like the Teabagger, sitting on his medicare pd for scooter holding a sign that says keep Govt out of my medicare and social security. Most people realize they look like idiots to protest against their own best interests... And if medicare is so great (as the tea baggers say they don't want anyone screwing up their good deal, then why wouldn't the system that they want protected not be best for the entire country. It would actually be more efficient and become better funded if everyone was enrolled into a single-payer system. The delivery of health care and costs of medications would be better managed from practice to practice, hospital to hospital, and pharmacy to pharmacy across the United Staes. Also, younger, healthier persons paying into the system would help alleviate the financial burdens that the elderly, sicker persons drain from the system.

And the best thing of all, no one is denied the care they need and one's job is not connected to the level of health care a person gets. People pay wildly different rates depending on where they work or if its even offered at all as a benefit. More people would choose to work for themselves or create a small company. Without the burden of health care, smaller work places and working for oneself would make it possible to compete against the big corporations and such. Steve Jobs started in his garage. That's not even possible today because of the major issues of health care and the prices and the risk of that one major illness; especially if there are children within one's family that would innocently be harmed for their parent's initiative to be independent or work for a smaller, saner company.

All those kids down on Wall St could probably pool together enough ideas and money to start co-op types of companies. Work places and spaces that operate in a democratically managed way that work to find acceptable time vs. individual "off" time. Vacation time. Maternity/ Paternity leave. A charter that indicates what they feel is enough of a profit that they don't infringe on worker's rights in this country and abroad if they are using off-shore companies. They are marching to say enough is enough. They have the imagination and the engagement of the American People. Capitalism in its form is killing this planet and causing massive amounts of disparity.. enslaving people into debt. They have the right idea... They need to create those changes that will prove that a different way is attainable and good for the country and the world as a whole.

Also, the best way to get more people on board that are in boomer and elderly age is to talk about health care for all (so a elderly person or older person facing costlier health care is able to feel secure to allow the older systems to fall to the ground... A 60 yr old who has enough in retirement, but cannot retire due to health insurance, could step aside their job for the younger generation, but cannot because of the issues of health care). We also should be talking about a way to secure social security or some system that allows for people to retire. Many who had 401K's and are boomers on the verge of retirement took a huge hit in 2008. They can't think about retiring now. We have to design a system that allows the elderly to be able to retire and perhaps move into volunteer types of positions in order to still "work", but also get a bit more in a monthly check. Someone who is 60, would be a great asset in schools, parks, teaching things like sewing, cooking, knitting, how to run a successful business... We don't utilize people for their value... And after working for a lifetime, people should be able to spend their golden years with happiness, less stress, and still being a vital part to the community. Talk about issues of how we will take care of people when they are in their tender years starting out as children and then again in their golden years when they are older. One day the young now, will be old too. These older people are scrambling and trying to hold onto the scraps of the good years of prosperity. This "take back America" schtick is not just about racism, but also to times when raises actually happened, pensions were there, insurance was a free item the company provided for, and things felt ok. Security is what someone who is older needs because they can't afford in the system that is designed today, to start over.

Home and property value in today's world is also a huge issue. It is a very European way of "owning" land that prevailed in this country. It has always been an issue even in the founding days of the country (they fought about who should vote-- some thinking land owners should only vote because they had more "invested interest" in the country succeeding). With climate change, jobs changing, and some owning a lot and others nothing, we need to be able to "move" more easily, but also feel secure that rental payments aren't gouged or property in certain areas become havens for the wealthy, while other areas become impoverished stuck in areas. Its a big issue that needs to be addressed.. How and where do we live. What makes sense? Even to how we are building homes and neighborhoods for the world that needs all of us to live sustainably. AND when we talk about those issues, its like talking about a Govt mandate as to the size of one's home, how many children or family that a unit can hold.... I really don't have an answer to the problem of living in a home. It involves discussing what people in this country have historically perceived as a freedom tied to wealth. I do know it is a problem that needs to be talked about. It will take someone to think outside the box and for it to be fair, just, and still hold a sense of individuality and freedom. Land issues is a very big issue and one that will continue to worsen as the world's population increases. (as to population increasing, the best ammunition is to provide resources, education, and empowerment to women in regards to reproduction and liberties to be able to be a productive member of society instead of stuck as the house wife ruled by their husband or father).
