I was simply pointing out that the facts given in the OP article--grad student with a degree in physics from Northeastern-- suggested that his IQ was probably over 50.
I never said that he was a genius in any area, only that his IQ was probably over 50.
I do very much agree that people can be, and usually are, smart or clever in some areas and not so much in others.
