21. C'mon, people, give the man credit
Yes, Starbucks is a corporation and, like every other corporation, a sociopathic greed machine, but a moratorium on corporate campaign contributions is still something we would all very much like to see. Who knows why he's saying this, who cares? Even if he's saying the right thing for the wrong reasons, he's still saying the right thing. He's the only CEO to go on record expressing even the slightest concern over our increasingly plutocratic governance; nowadays, you gotta be grateful for what minuscule scraps you can get. Obama hasn't so much as whispered a word on the subject, yet we're all supposed to go out and vote for him next year because he's so much more progressive than the alternatives.
