The Founders never conceived of a large portion of Government not only lacking popular information,
but actually spurning the means of acquiring it. Farce and Tragedy indeed.

Peter Ustinov once did a spoof on diplomats in various situations. The French "No" vote was justified
by Ustinov's French diplomat thusly: "Since France was not consulted about the subject under discussion,
we now refuse to be told what that subject is."

Sounds like Cantor's teabagger faction in the House.
