Yes accidents are mistakes. This wasn't an accident. Unless he never realized that if you drink heavily it impaires judgement then it was a choice. He choose to drink, he choose to drive, he choose to do 110 and he choose to die. He could have killed people in the meantime.

I liked the show Jackass and didn't have any problem with his entertainment. But he is a horse's ass for what he did and I don't feel sorry for him.
